Session by Mr. MR Jackson, HOD, Design and Technology
Design Process Introduction
'The design process is a journey from thought to form'
This presentation was conducted by the Design and Technology Head of Department, Mr. Jackson.
He started by explaining the basic journey of all things that are built or manufactured and introduced the simple machinery/engineering of objects that are essential today.
After talking about possible faults in machinery, he gave an example that was easy to understand- some obvious faults in the new iPhone 6
He also spoke of the successful Indian Mangalyan to orbit Mars
All the students listened attentively and promptly took notes.
From the presentation, I quote,
'Taking small easy steps can help ordinary people achieve extraordinary things'
'It's not about the end product, It's about the steps and procedures we go through, so we can make it happen again' - Mehak Malhotra- Student Editor
