Robongiers 2014

Pathways School, Gurgaon is hosting its  3^rd Robongiers – an Annual Inter School Robotics Festival for students of Middle School (grade 6,7 and 8 ). It is a 2 days programme scheduled on 9^th and 10^th of October, 2014.

Robongiers was created to challenge the thinking and creativity of young minds in Middle School because this is the time of their lives when they are at their creative best and the ability to design, innovate and create is among the ultimate goals of education. The festival is held each year in August /September.

Day 1: Thursday, 9^th October , 2014

a.       Registration (8:30 am-9 am)

b.      Opening Ceremony (9 -10 am)

c.       Break (10-10.30)

d.      Session 1-Building a basic robot using electronic circuits.(10:30-1:30)

e.      Break (1:30-2)

f.        Session 2- A design brief and Robotics Challenge (2pm – 5pm)

g.       Evening snack (5 – 5:30)

Day 2: Friday 10^th October, 2014

a.       Testing Models and extending the challenge with the final round of the competition (8:30-1:30)

b.      Lunch break (1:30 -2)

c.       Using IT skills to present a reflection on learning.(2 pm – 3:30 pm)

d.      Prize Distribution –(3:30 – 5 pm)

e.      Evening snack (5 – 5:30)
