Updates on the Participants Performance

Day 1
  • Out of the ten participating schools, six of them completed the 'light following robot', while the others were unsuccessful due to soldering issues.
  • Amity International School is the second school to have successfully completed their robot.
  • Mehak and I went around the competition rooms and interviewed all three judges to get their input on the event. The first judge we interviewed, Mr. Mohit from Manav Rachna Charmwood talked about how well the teams were doing. The other 2 judges also had some good inputs saying that the teams were able to follow the instruction manual. Apparently some of the teams were having trouble while soldering. Judges say that a few of the teams are doing it correctly while a few of the teams aren't. (Neel)
  • Manav Rachna School (Faridabad)is the first school to have successfully completed their robot.
  • Manav Rachna (Charmwood) has completed their robot but they were unsuccessful in making their robot work.
  • Amity International Gurgaon and Pathways School Gurgaon (Team 1) have both tested their robots. The tests were not successful and they are currently trying to fix their errors.
Day 2
    • Out of the ten participating schools, six of them completed the 'light following robot', while the others were unsuccessful due to soldering issues.

  • Pathways Gurgaon has just completed one successful trial of their robot

  • Suncity World school is done with their programming but claim they don't have enough lego to finish their robot

  • The students have been surprised with yet another obstacle on their landscape.
A new ramp and a black box obstacle has been added, which means the students will have to expand the size of their robots and change a lot of the programming.

  • PSG team 1
The new platform won't be a problem , but we've got a new strategy . We aren't falling behind. However the black box will be a problem

    PSG team 2
THis is a big advantage for us as we received the software late and were behind on programming. We think we can pace up now

    Amity international
It was beneficial for us. Our robot was stuck and was not able to carry civilians. with this new ramp our problem will be solved

  • The special surprise is about to be revealed! All the schools are anxiously waiting for it to be uncovered.

  • Suncity school
The new ramp hasn't made much of a difference, and we feel we'll still be able to smoothly accomplish the task.

    MRIS Sector 14 team 1
In a way, the new ramp has made a difference to our robot, however we will be able to complete the task.

  • All the teams are now facing problems in picking up the passengers
